Bio

I was born in Anniston, Alabama to the parents of William and Birdie Hutchings in April of 1972. I have always wanted to learn about different aspects of Science, especially the field of weather. After graduating from Wellborn High School I went to Jacksonville State and studied weather and physical science with Dr. Ted K of WBRC-FOX6. It was at JSU where I wanted to learn more and went to Mississippi State to work on my broadcast meteorology. After two years in Starkville, Mississippi working on my Master's in that field I got my first "real" job in the field at KALB-NBC Newschannel 5 in Alexandria, LA. I was there two years from 1996-1998 and enjoyed every minute of it!!! But my attention turned to wanting to teach weather and science and I came back to Alabama in the fall of 1998.

I have been teaching in the Oxford City School System since the fall of 1998. I would not want to be teaching in any other place in the country. We have real people and caring people in the community.

I am single and live in Anniston. I am a member of the 16th and Noble Church of Christ in Anniston. My hobbies including watching the Weather Channel....watching the Weather Channel and oh...did I say the Weather Channel. I love to read, workout, and spend money whenever I have some.
